Volunteers

Thank you for giving of your time and talent to Catholic Charities! Together, we answer the call of Pope Francis to serve our brothers and sisters in need.

Catholic Charities Spokane relies on more than 6,000 volunteers each year to serve over 70,000 people in Eastern Washington. Please view the  Volunteer Needs by Program. Once you have decided on your areas of interest, proceed to fill out the Volunteer Application to apply. If you need more information on our programs, please visit the Programs pages on our website.
All Catholic Charities Spokane volunteers must complete our electronic application and pass a background check before placement. We also need a photocopy of a picture ID (scan, photocopy, or take a picture with your smart phone and email to kkain@ccspokane.org).

To receive information by mail or if you have any questions, please contact

Student and Underage Volunteers

At Catholic Charities, we also welcome student and underage volunteers. Our Underage Policy states that if volunteers are 16 or 17 years old they are required to turn in a signed parent permission form. Please click on the link at the end of this paragraph to access the parent permission form. Volunteers 15 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who has submitted a volunteer application. Parental Permission Form

Please note:
Fees, up to $80.50, apply to anyone who wishes to volunteer at St. Anne's.  These fees are newly mandated by governmental regulations which have been placed on all day care centers in Washington.

Volunteer applications can take up to a week to be processed after they are submitted. You will then be contacted by the program of your choice. We apologize any inconvenience.
