Staff Testimonials:
I have worked for Catholic Charities for 12.5 years and I still love every minute of it. I feel that Catholic Charities really
makes a positive difference for the people they serve and I am proud to be a part of this wonderful social services organization. Catholic Charities’ core values are; collaboration, compassion, justice, and respect. These four core values are a true reflection of the organization and are demonstrated on a daily basis by all the employees. This is a fantastic organization to be a part of. I highly recommend it for those who truly want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.

Catholic Charities Spokane has been everything I have every wanted and needed in an employer; this agency requires respect for human beings, we seek out the famished and give them bread; we offer the homeless a warm place to lay their heads; a smile costs nothing but its reward is great. Catholic Charities’ entire staff demonstrate that respect and compassion is a priceless gift. It is a wonderful experience to have great
team members I can always count on and a team of supervisors to promote good health; thank you for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful dream.

I continue to be surprised by how much working at St. Margaret¹s Shelter means to me, even after 3 years. Certainly it is challenging, but in that good way that feels like you might have done something that matters. Sometimes the day’s challenge is simply to give everyone I meet the respect and time they deserve and sometimes my day’s goodness can be a very small thing like saying, “have a good day” with a smile. But little things can turn into big things, big enough for a mom to feel supported to make life changes. It suits me that it is different every day with a wonderful kaleidoscope mixture of donors, volunteers, community partners, great staff friends and of course, shelter residents.
