Welcome Families:

St. Anne's Children and Family Center (St. Anne's), sponsored by Catholic Charities, is a unique place where parents and their children participate in an exceptional child development program. Everything at St. Anne's fosters an atmosphere of mutual respect for children, parents, staff, volunteers, and students. Our philosophy is that children are capable and competent, and our environments are arranged so that children can freely access what they need to grow and learn. St. Anne's currently is accredited through the Council on Accreditation and is in the process of acquiring National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) early childhood accreditation.

Our priority at St. Anne's is to recognize that our parents are the foundation of our program for children. Parents are the child's first and most important teachers and have valuable insights into how their child learns. We expect that parents will maintain an open dialogue with the child's teacher, since we will be depending upon parents to update us on their child's progress. We keep in communication with families about important events, concerns, or milestones reached at home.  We also take the time to get to know our families and incorporate their backgrounds and culture into our program.  We value our partnership with our families and see the parent as being the one who knows their child best. If you are interested in enrolling your child(ren) at St. Anne's, please download and print out our enrollment forms, complete them, and return them to us at your convenience. Thank you for considering St. Anne's Children and Family Center. Please be advised that families currently enrolled, families of Providence Health Care employees, and families of Catholic Charities programs have wait list priority.  However, St. Anne's will make every effort to accommodate all families on a timely basis, based on availability.  St. Anne's serves all children, regardless of faith or background.

 Cuddles & Care

Working parents often find themselves in a dilemma when their child is ill.  Sponsored by Sacred Heart Children's Hospital, Cuddles & Care is a program for mildly ill children up to 12 years of age.  The program is in a separate part of the building with its own entrance and ventilation system, so that children who are healthy stay that way.  Parents can feel secure about leaving their children here, knowing they will be monitored closely by Sacred Heart staff and given extra attention.
